No pressure sensitivity with wacom cintiq 12wx Reproducible: Always
Hi Mira Maia, This surprises me a lot, because I don't see this problem when using either my wacom intuos 3 or my cintiq hybrid companion on Windows. I suspect that there might be some configuration problem.
Intuos3 has the same driver as this cintiq version (companion is a lot newer series tho), I wish I could test with my other tablets atm but I'm at a lan event, somewhat sad cause I wanted to show people the new krita here. I'm terrible at using windows tho so the issue could be in my end aswell somewhere (I normally do all art related stuff on linux), asked for help at the irc but nobody had any suggestions, I'll keep looking.
Aw... I'm sorry I missed you on irc :-(. Which other apps do you have on the windows machine, and do they work?
I have Paint Tool Sai which works, and one of the betas of Krita worked if I remember correctly. This bug happend in the final release of 2.9, and also the third beta of it when I installed that aswell. I was supposed to try out even more previous versions to see which one it was where my tablet still worked on, but now I'm stuck with my tablet driver completely dying out again (this is an issue I've always had on windows...) Also I'm still at irc, under the alias of Neotheta.
Ah, ok -- I am beginning to have a bit of trouble matching names to nicks :-). Sorry if I'm confusing, I go by neko-maya or neotheta (currently in irc as neotheta). But after a great battle to get the tablet drivers working, I went and installed all the beta versions of 2.9 to find out where the pressure sensitivity stops working and it seems that it worked in beta 2 but not in beta 3 anymore (and continued to not work in the stable release).
Hi, mira-mala! Could you please generate a tablet log for me? Here is how to do it: https://answers.launchpad.net/krita-ru/+faq/2494 On step 5, please do exactly two strokes with the tablet. And make sure that you start DebugView *before* starting Krita.
Could you still generate a tablet log? Also, I have had some problems where the Wacom driver assigned the tablet part to the other monitor, which meant that I only had pressure support if the krita window was NOT on the tablet monitor...
Ping? Does this still happen with 3.0?
(In reply to Boudewijn Rempt from comment #9) > Ping? Does this still happen with 3.0? Seems to no longer be an issue! :D
Let's close then.
