Hi,
This bug affect text written with the multiline text tool

To reproduce :
   1. Select the text tool ( 'T' icon in toolbar )
   2. In the tool-option docker, change the mode for 'Multiline'
   3. Create a text box on the canvas ( click and drag )
   4. Type a small text in your text box
   5. Highlight/select the text
   6. In the tool-option docker, change the color of text for a bright one ( white on screenshot )

Result :
The pixels around the fonts are dark. Every colored font exept black or dark grey text render oorly.

Hello David!
I remember I have seen this problem some time ago.
I've just re-checked with the latest 2.9.5 (Ubuntu 14.04) and I don't see anymore those dark pixels around the text, in my case.

Oh, you are lucky; here I still have this issue with 2.9 dev , ( mint 17.1= 14.04 ). I attach a screenshot.

Thanks David, you're right.
Curiously, I can reproduce only with font sizes less than 46 (any kind of font). Is it the same also for you?
Comment 4 mvowada 2015-06-27 14:55:21 UTC
...Sorry, to be precise, it happens with font sizes "less than or equal" to 46.
Comment 5 David REVOY 2015-06-27 15:05:58 UTC
Oh, nicely found. Here It took me a little time to find the value where the bug occur :
It happens here with font sizes "less than or equal" to 61.
At 62, the aliasing solve mysteriously.

Good catch! I've appended "under a certain font size" to the title :-)
Please, feel free to change it back if you think it's out of place.
