Description Ruman Gerst 2015-02-20 13:57:09 UTC
I want to replace kded5's Ctrl+Esc hotkey (KSysguard process table) with normal KSysguard, so I created a new global hotkey in "Custom hotkeys" section.
But it gets removed if I relog or just restart systemsettings5.
Hotkey works until relog.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to "Custom hotkeys"
[Optional: Create new group - Doesn't matter]
2. New>Global Shortcut>Command/URL
3. Set trigger to Ctrl+Esc (ALWAYS asks if I want to remap existing shortcut)

Actual Results:
If you go back to the hotkey section after closing systemsettings5,
the hotkey disappeared.
But the hotkey works until relog.
The created group also disappears.

Expected Results:
The hotkey should be in the list; the group, too.
The hotkey should work even after relog.

Sounds similar from what I see in 345252, but for me the shortcut is never working.

Same problem on Arch Linux with Plasma 5.3.0, but it wasn't there with 5.2.0.

I've overlooked this bugreport. I've joined 345252 which seems to be a duplicate or is there any difference I missed?

The title is a bit confusing as a "Custom Shortcut" is another category than a "Global Shortcut".
