Description Mike Morris 2015-02-18 09:26:00 UTC
Set up a (Window Action) shortcut to map "Ctrl+^" to the key sequence "ctrl+shift+u:2:5:c:a" (basically to make that unicode escape sequence more convenient) but all that gets replayed (in any window) is the "25ca" sequence.
Comment 1 Martin Flöser 2015-02-18 09:30:26 UTC
Could you please specify where you setup this "window action"?

(then configure the shortcut action and desired output key sequence)

does "in any window" mean "in any Qt5 window"?
See bug #353781

Es gibt zwei Aktionen (Fett, Lesezeichen hinzufügen), die den gleichen Kurzbefehl Strg+B verwenden. Dies ist wahrscheinlich ein Fehler.

There are two actions (Bold, Add Bookmark) that use the same shortcut Ctrl + B. This is probably a mistake.

Window Actions don't have shortcut keys. I think you mean: Global Shortcut > Send Keyboard Input.

Window Actions only trigger when a window changes.

I've tried a general Global Shortcut and the Shift works.

I did "Shift+h:e:l:l:o" and it worked.
