I use plasma 5.2.0 and I set the hook at the start automatic button but kmix does not start automatically when I start my desktop. Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 102720 [details] KMix autostart .desktop-file Updated KMix autostart .desktop-file. Changes from version currently (2016-12-10) in git: - Added the entry 'X-KDE-autostart-phase=1'. This fixes my problem that KMix did not autostart. - Renamed 'DocPath' to 'X-DocPath'. X-DocPath is not an official XDG .destop entry, hence the required 'X-'. (All other .desktop-files use 'X-DocPath' esxcept for KMix.) - Changed 'X-KDE-StartupNotify' to 'StartupNotify'. StartupNotify is now an official XDG .desktop entry, so the 'X-KDE-' is no longer needed.
I had the same problem. KMix did not start, eventhough I configured it to AutoStart. System ------ openSUSE Leap 42.2 (x86_64) Extra Repos: - KDE:/Applications (newer KDE packages) - KDE:/Extra (additional and newer KDE packages) - Packman (for ffmpeg) Updated on: 2016-12-09 Notes ----- - No PulseAudio! PulseAudio packages are _not_ installed. - The problem persisted with or without Packman packages. Fix --- - Copy the above attached 'kmix_autostart.desktop' file to '/etc/xdg/autostart/' to overwrite the old one.
Additional info: Versions -------- Qt: 5.6.1 KDE Frameworks: 5.26.0 KMix: 4.6
