Description neutrino 2015-02-03 18:44:10 UTC
First I add a "Title Clip" to Project Tree and edit it then I drag it to the timeline but can drop it there. On the lower edge comes the message "Clip not ready".

I have the problem on kdenlive 0.9.10 and kdenlive 0.9.10 build yesterday from git. I also have the newest melt framework 0.9.3 build from git. My system is archlinux kernel 3.18.4 with kde 4.14.4.

Can you check that MLT is compiled with the "kdenlivetite" module ?
In Kdenlive, go to:
Settings>Run Config Wizard
Click Next to go to the second page, and scroll down, you should have a "Title module" entry. Does it display an "ok" icon next to this title module feature ?

fiy, just reported another bug that could be related: #347682
Comment 6 Vincent PINON 2015-09-10 07:30:27 UTC
Seems we are facing a bug present for long in Qt, we hope it could be fixed in Qt 5.5.1 or next.
So this won't fix Kdenlive 0.9.10 version (Qt4)
Comment 7 farid 2015-09-10 16:14:48 UTC
this seems to be fixed in 15.08.00

This bug has had its resolution changed, but accidentally has been left in NEEDSINFO status. I am thus closing this bug and setting the status as RESOLVED to reflect the resolution change.
