KWin has a nice quick tiling feature where dragging a window to the left or right of the screen will tile the window in a vertical half, or a quadrant of the screen.  Unfortunately there is no way to easily place windows in the top or bottom half.  It would be nice if dragging to the top or bottom of the screen would perform a similar tiling horizontally.

One thing to note is that the top tiling would conflict with the quick maximize feature so they would be mutually exclusive options.

Currently the best way to achieve this effect is to drag the two windows to the corners then right click the maximize buttons.
