I had a fantastic plasma 5 running after installing it using the opensuse repositories. I rebooted the machine, and when I logged in, all icons everywhere were gone :-( Menu, systemsettings etc, all icons completely gone. I removed what I could find in .local and .config after logging out, and logged in. Still same result. I try to change settings using system settings, nothing is changed :-( I cannot change look and feel except dark/light theme. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install opensuse 2. Install plasme5 and qt5 repositories 3. Log out 4. login (I have not tried it more than once since it is quite a job starting over) Actual Results: All icons are gone, fonts are big, settings cannot be changed Expected Results: The same settings as before I logged out I set it as Major, since using an interface without icons is practically unusable today :-)

Thanks in advance for helping :-)
It's been sometime, were you able to achieve this issue more times? I didn't have anything like that testing openSUSE Tumbleweed, Leap 42.3 and Leap 15 beta for last couple of months. It looks like some opensuse kde specific quirk at that time. I vote to close this ticket if no occurences have been found.
