When changing the KDE color theme, it gets applied to all other parts except the tab bar and the scroll bar. The themeing will be applied correctly after restarting Konsole. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Konsole, open some tabs if you want 2. Change color theme from system settings
Note: I am no maintainer but from the bugsquad. Thanks for reporting the bug! I can reproduce this bug on my system. I think this is no bug in konsole but in an upstream application (my guess is QT), as it is the scrolling block. It would probably be beneficial to look into the component that produces the misbehavior and see if other programs that use it exhibit the same bug. System Information: konsole 17.12.3 kde-plasma-version: 5.12.6 kde-frameworks-version: 5.44.0 qt-version: 5.9.5
I just compiled the current master and it seems that it is fixed there. At least for me the scrollbars are changing color schemes. Can somebody verify (and therefore recheck) and tell me the results?
I can also confirm this - kde-neon - konsole 18.08.2 - KDE Frameworks 5.51.0 - Qt 5.11.2 (built against 5.11.1) - plasmashell 5.14.2 Addition: In Konsole -> Settings -> Configure Konsole... -> TabBar: Switching on and off "Show 'New Tab' and 'Close Tab' buttons" fixes colors for tabbar (but not for buttons in tabbar) @Sebastian: Thanks for pointing me here. maybe #373439 is duplicate of this one and should be closed
