I have two screens with different screen resolutions. The left one is 1440x900 while the other one is 1920x1080. For better alignment of the two screens, i set the left one a bit lower than the right one. After opening yakuake the second time, the top part of yakuake now aligns with the bottom part of the left plasma panel. (I am using KDE plasma 5.2, not 4.14.4 like yakuake --version says.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set the scond screen lower the the other in KDE settings. 2. Open yakuake and show hide it twice with the set key shortcut. 3. Yakuake should now align with the lower (left?) screen. Actual Results: Yakuakes top border is aligned with the left plasma panel. Expected Results: It should be aligned with the plasma panel from its own screen. KDE plasma 5.2 Yakuake 2.9.9 QT 4.8.6
I have the same issue on Kubuntu 15.10 though it only seems to happen when I have a panel at the top of the smaller screen - if I put the panel on the smaller screen at the bottom there is no issue. $ cat /etc/issue; dpkg -l yakuake; dpkg -l plasma-desktop Ubuntu 15.10 \n \l Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Architecture Description +++-========================-=================-=================-===================================================== ii yakuake 2.9.9-2 amd64 Quake-style terminal emulator based on KDE Konsole te Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Architecture Description +++-========================-=================-=================-===================================================== ii plasma-desktop 4:5.4.2-0ubuntu2 amd64 Tools and widgets for the desktop
It seems that I can't reproduce the bug any longer. (It might have been fixed a few years ago and should definitely no longer clutter this bugtracker)
I can't reproduce it on Arch Linux running Yakuake 3.0.5 either.
