Description Jeff 2015-01-25 17:52:40 UTC
To fully support investment trading, KMyMoney needs to support short sales. In Quicken these are entered and "Short Sell" and show up in the QIF as "NShtSell". Exiting the trade is accomplished by a Quicken "Cover Short Sale" transaction which shows up in the QIF as "NCvrShrt".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter a short sale in Quicken
2. Export to QIF
3. Import the QIF in KMyMoney
4. Short sale (and cover short) transactions are ignored

Actual Results:
There is no support for even entering short sales directly in KMyMoney.

To replace Quicken, KMyMoney needs to support stock option trading transactions (puts and calls) which involves short sales.
