Description Nicofo 2015-01-19 19:43:15 UTC
When I import files from SD card or directly from camera, I expect that the file's timestamp of the imported files is the same as the one of the files on the camera.
It is not the case: the file's timestamp is the present time.

Reproducible: Always

Note: the behavior can be modified using Settings > Metadata > Uncheck 'Update file timestamp when files are modified'. But:
1) importation of file is not a file modification. I expect that this setting only affects pictures that are *modified* in digikam (like rotation, etc.)
2) see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329608#c14 : Gilles Caulier seems to agree with me ("as import or export file always preserve file timestamps")
