I use kile compiled from git master, and I (try to) use the live preview feature. While typing, when I make a split-second pause, the live preview job starts running (I guess that's how it's supposed to be), but when I start retyping right away that job crashes (not kile itself). On the kile output log I get the messages (in German) [LivePreview-PDFLaTeX] crashed [LivePreview-PDFLaTeX] suddenly terminated ("unvermittelt beendet") [LivePreview-PDFLaTeX] aborted This happens even when typing plain text, i.e., the document is valid tex at all times. When I pause longer, the preview completes and I get a correct preview. This apparently happens with all documents. I happened to have compiled kile with debug output enabled. I'll attach a screenshot of the error message and of a complete log. I am happy to answer further questions/do more testing. My bug description is probably suboptimal -- I find this bug is difficult to describe. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any tex document 2. Enable live preview 3. Start typing text 4. Make a very short break (<1s), continue typing right away

Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
This is still an issue, typing anything in a document while a preview is being generated crashes the generation and produces an annoying cascade of modal error messages, making it impossible to continue editing the document.
