Description yellowhat46 2015-01-05 22:28:38 UTC
Hi all,
I am using openSUSE Tumbleweed with KF5 unstable repo, so I am using the latest git version of KDE 5 (5.6.0-git).
I would like to open konsole with meta+F1 so I configure a new keyboard shortcut (SystemSettings -> Shortcuts -> Custom shortcut). Everything works fine but as soon as I reboot everything is reset. So I have to configure my custom shortcut on each reboot.
I also modified some global shortcut -> kwin but these "survive" to reboot.

Thanks

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a new custom keyboard shortcut
2. Reboot
3.

Actual Results:
Reset

Expected Results:
Stay

Same problem with Arch, KDE 5.6.0.

Deleting all config (.kde4 and .config) seems to fix the problem.

Can you please reopen this bug? I have the same problem, but deleting everything from .kde and .config does not seem like an acceptable solution for me. At all.

There is clearly some bug in khotkeys and it is not fixed.

Ok I changed the status to: "verified" and "worksforme".
