I have a .desktop file I launch, usually after logging in. Its command is something like: sudo sh -c 'if ping -c 1 myserver ; then if apt-get update ; then if apt-get dist-upgrade ; then echo Done Updating ; fi ; fi ; fi' While it's running, it properly displays "owner : sudo - Konsole" in the title. (I just have the default '%d : %n' set for the tab title format.) Even once it completes, it still shows "owner : sudo - Konsole" as expected. Sometime after that, however (could be days), if I just leave the window open, the title goes to something wonky. Here are two examples: owner : ImageDe~r #1774 - Konsole owner : DNS Res~r #3308 - Konsole I have no idea where these crazy names are getting leaked from. I haven't typed or done anything in the completed window - just left it open. Reproducible: Always
Is this still happening? Does it happen after exactly 42 or 49 or 49 days?
