Description mvowada 2014-12-29 15:25:03 UTC
It may take some time before previewing filters.

- Has been by chance considered the reuse of the last cached preview, for applying changes (OK button)?
- Then in preview mode it could be handy having at disposal the undo (CTRL + Z) and redo commands.

(Krita version: 2+git20141226+r73494-51-dk~ubuntu14.04.1)

Reproducible: Always

Hi,

The previews inside the layerbox are gone (for various reasons) and I don't think it'll be possible to cache the on-canvas preview. Undo and redo would be nice to have, or a kind of time-slider.

Hi, thank you for the reply.

"The previews inside the layerbox are gone"

If you are referring to a thumbnail preview in the dialog window "Properties..." of the filter ("Layers" docker > right-click over a filter), in my opinion it's not a problem since I think the on-canvas preview of the filter is still there. If anything, I find it's missing a checkbox to turn the on-canvas preview on/off. But maybe that's what you've pointed out, don't you?

Undo and redo would be nice, yes.

Sorry, we will not in the near future get down to this: it just doesn't work that way inside Krita.
