Given a loose/worn micro-usb cable, when it gets moved and possibly break the connection, any further file transfer fails, requiring Dolphin to be restarted completely. I know micro-usb is an ill-conceived cable format with planned obsolescence in mind, but kio-mtp just happens to be very unstable. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. plug the micro-usb cable into an android device 2. open dolphin, start a larger batch of file transfers 3. move the micro-usb cable a bit (in case it`s a loose/poor one) Actual Results: the whole file transfer batch fails some uncomplete/empty files are left on the connected android device Expected Results: - automatic retry strategy to be applied - file transfer batch to complete at first opportunity (actual ยต-usb connection may be re-established within seconds, actually) - further attempts result in "the process for mtp died unexpectedly" until dolphin is restarted tried kio-mtp-0.75_p20131020 and kio-mtp-9999 same result
