Description Paul Childs 2014-12-19 00:15:57 UTC
Right click (clockwise rotation) has irregular issues where multiple turns occur due to the one click (sometimes over a full revolution).
I think this is likely due to improper event handling based on button pressed and button released.
Left button has no problems

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. right click
2. about 10-20% of the time more than one 90 degree rotation will occur
3.
Comment 1 Ashwin Rajeev 2014-12-31 11:16:44 UTC
I am unable to reproduce this issue.
Comment 2 Paul Childs 2015-01-01 01:25:03 UTC
Really?? It has been there on every (gnome based) ubuntu version I have ever used over the past 5 years. A KDE gentoo box I used to use was a bit more stable but I think it had issues too.
Have to use the keyboard for CW rotations.

Mouse right button has contact bounce?

I had the same issue, with an even higher percentage of these failures.

After having bought a new mouse device the problem disappeared :-)

Seriously!!! After this bug has sat idle for 6 years, kde policy considers 30 days sufficient notice?

Have not noticed the problem on a recent playthrough, but that might be hardware dependent.
