Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
I can't tell you because I haven't been on Ubuntu for two years. I switched to Debian and the Synaptic version is 2.0.3. Right now I don't have any problems with that. But on the other hand there is also another one that makes that when you erase a DVD -RW in fast the disc stops during the operation or that after the operation K3B says that an error has occurred and consequently the disc becomes unusable. It's a problem I had with Ubuntu as well. So it's also an old problem to solve. But right now, I can't tell you if that's still the case, because I haven't tried it again for at least a year and a half, and it's mostly because I lost a lot of DVD-RWs by doing tests. So I've been using full formatting for over 2 years and I have no problems with it that way. Thank you.
Thanks for the update!
