Description pallavi.chaurasia94 2014-12-11 16:45:04 UTC
Wherever I apply for a change in color in any of the review tools (for e.g., yellow highlighter/green freehand line) , it remembers the change only for a one-time use. In case I have to re-use the particular review tool again, it reverts back to the default color.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.select a review tool (such as yellow highlight)
2.go to properties>appearance>color
3.choose the desired color
4.use it once
5.select the tool again

Actual Results:
it no more uses the color requested by the user, instead reverts back to its default color

Expected Results:
it should show up the color of user's choice each time (after the changes have been applied once)

Which "properties" are you changing?
Comment 2 pallavi.chaurasia94 2014-12-11 18:04:38 UTC
as in, right clicking the selected portion and opt for properties, and then chose the 'color' tab

Why would changing the color of one annotation change the color of the next? If you want to change the color of annotations use the annotation editing config dialog
Comment 4 pallavi.chaurasia94 2014-12-11 18:28:21 UTC
and how do i achieve that ?
Comment 5 Albert Astals Cid 2014-12-11 19:03:32 UTC
google "okular annotation configure"
https://www.google.es/search?q=okular+annotation+configure
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/123226/change-and-save-pdf-annotation-setting-in-okular which has the good answer.

tried this. No option as 'annotations' present for me in 'configure-okular'

Please install (from packages or sources) some modern version (>=0.16). It should be there:
