Description skaumo 2014-12-10 16:20:21 UTC
When adding a new Google account (calendar, mail, etc), it pops up a Google login window using credentials shared with Konqueror and other Akonadi Google accounts.

The creation of a new account should start as if I was a completely new user, with no shared cookies or local storage. i do not want a newly created account to be linked to others (be it Google or any other provider) just because Akonadi is re-using credentials.

I consider this a privacy issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect Akonadi to a Google account
2. Connect to another

or

1. Log in to any Google account with Konqueror
2. Connect Akonadi to a Google account

Actual Results:
Login window pops up with credentials used the last time

Expected Results:
Login window to appear as if I was an anonymous user

This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
