I've been having an issue where tags on my photos have been disappearing. 1. I tag all my photos (re-tagging ranges of them because of the logs tags) 2. I write metadata to images then export tags to images 3. I open digiKam a few days later and the tags have completely disappeared from some of my photos This happens with a strangely consistent pattern in the photo list: [photo with tags], [photo with tags], [photo without tags], [photo with tags], [photo with tags], [photo without tags], ... ie: No matter the subject boundary (spot where the tags used change) or order I tag photos it's a consistent pattern of 2 photos that have retained their tags and then one that has lost all the tags I gave it. This also only appears to happen after time. If I do those steps, quit digiKam, then re-open it, then all the tags are still there. But if I then open it back up next time I have photos tags have disappeared. Reproducible: Always
Are you moving the files/directories either in digikam or outside of it? If so, how?
No. I import new photos from SD with Image Capture. But I don't even have to do that for this to happen.

It may have been fixed. I opened up digiKam, re-tagged some of the old photos. Then quit and opened digiKam a few times and the tags remained. So it "may" have been fixed (it's hart to tell with a strange bug like this, especially since i stopped using digiKam).
