If I have desktop effects enabled then screen would freeze every few hours. The system keeps running in the background but screen is replaced with a still picture. As soon as I disable desktop effects screen resumes and then I can re-enable desktop effects. Amination is also sort of choppy and not as smooth as they are when desktop effect is enabled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Happens when using desktop effects. 2. 3. Actual Results: System screen freezes and replaced by a still picture. Can get back to working system by disabling desktop effects. I am using Plamsa 5 on Thinkpad T420i. lspci -v | grep VGA 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119M [Quadro NVS 4200M] (rev ff) (prog-if ff) $ rpm -qa | grep intel xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.99.916-3.20141117.fc21.x86_64 $ rpm -qa | grep nvidia bumblebee-nvidia-340.46-4.fc21.x86_64
