Description searchfgold67899 2014-11-17 23:11:38 UTC
Upon reboot one day, my iCloud calendar events are all gone. After following http://askubuntu.com/questions/539893/can-i-sync-my-korganizer-and-icloud-calendars to reinstate the resource, the events are still not appearing. Events appear correctly in my iPhone.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a CalDav resource to Korganizer.

Actual Results:
No events appear, but calendars appear.

Expected Results:
Events and calendars appear and are changeable.

This would be a duplicate of bug 289399 or bug 283252 but I believe those bugs are specific to "owncloud" calendars, I am trying to access an online calendar file not on my own server.

Same when using Kerio now, KDE4.14.2
Comment 3 Hartmut 2015-02-16 14:51:22 UTC
I can confirm this behavior. I can add my Owncloud-calendar and the calendar appears without error in Korganizer. But no events are shown. If I create a new event, it appears in Korganzizer and short time later in the Webfrontend of my Owncloud. But not the way back.

This behavior is shown from Korganizer 4.14.4 but the version 4.11.5 of another installation works well. Two Smartphone synchronize good with my Owncloud in either direction.

I take that confirmation back. There has been trouble with Akonadi I think. I stopped all akonadi resources, deleted everything with the name "*akonadi*" in my personal folder, logged out, logged in and started Korganizer which startet Akonadi. When I created the Owncloud account again, it was shown. So it was not Korganizer but somewhat Akonadi.

Is this still an issue with more recent versions?

KOrganizer icloud calendars
Comment 9 Paweł Paradowski 2020-05-16 15:10:31 UTC
Hi,

I have have that same problem with my KOrganizer. I can add iCloud calendar and synchronize it, but the events are absent. On the other hand if I add in KOrganizer some event, it will be populated and will show in e.g. iPhone. So one way direction only.

I have tested this on OpenSuse TB, Leap and currently on Solus Plasma - always that same behaviour.
Solus Plasma is up to date. KOrganizator 5.14.0 (20.04.0).

Other minor bug is that some calendars from iCloud are doubled, but this is not a problem in comparison.

I can confirm this on Ubuntu 20.10, SoGo as CalDav und Kontact 5.15.1 (20.08.1). I see the entry in Akonadi Console listed as Remote ID, but it is not shown in Kontact.

Same Problem here:

Current debian sid.

No error message from akonadiconsole while syncing, but icloud entries won't appear in korganizer.
Comment 12 Daniel Ziltener 2022-06-16 13:26:49 UTC
I can confirm this on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, KOrganizer 22.04.2, with Zoho in this case. I can add events in KOrganizer, and they will get uploaded and appear on other devices. But events created on other devices will never show up in KOrganizer.

Same problem here, I see my Zoho Caldav calendars in the treeview but the events didn't appear.
