Currently there is no way to browse albums by category. You can only sort albums by it. It will be useful to be able to browse it like Tags

That would be awesome.
This is the very first thing I checked on Digikam.. missing.
Categories at the moment are pratically invisible.
TBH a tag system on albums would be even more useful.
