I have KDE Plasma5 running on an i7 OpenSUSE 13.2 server, and want to do a remote desktop to my Mac Pro, which has an Nvidia Quadro 4000 card. I get the message that Plasma5 is closing because OpenGL2 is not supported on my hardware. But my card supports OpenGL 4.4

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. exec startkde  (from the Mac)
2. The whole screen goes black
3. Apps running on my Linux desktop appear, but Plasma5 itself crashes saying that my hardware does not support OpenGL 2

Actual Results:  
The Apps remain. The desktop is gone, and I have to ctrl-c the processes.

Expected Results:  
desktop should appear.
