Description Sudhir Khanger 2014-11-02 17:06:30 UTC
Toolbars and dialog options in KDE 4 applications don't have icons by them. There is just empty space. Some will sporadically have icons but not all.

2.
3.

I am using Breeze Dark desktop theme, Breeze colors and icons, Plastik decoration on Fedora 21 Plasma 5.1.

Can you try deleting $XDG_CACHE_HOME/icon-cache.kcache and log out/in.

Does that fix it?
Comment 2 Sudhir Khanger 2014-11-03 18:24:18 UTC
Already tried that and it doesn't do anything.

Dolphin froze on my system which I had to kill and when I started it again I had all icons back in all KDE4 apps.

Another system had the same problem. The solution that seem to work for me has been to delete ~/.kde/cache-fedora/icon-cache.kcache.

Deleting $XDG_CACHE_HOME/icon-cache.kcache doesn't do anything. Probably because KDE4 apps are affected.
