On a desktop with CentOS 7; Linux 3.10.0-123.el7.x86_64 x86_64; KDE 4.10.5; konsole 2.10.5 Some konsole windows do not scroll properly: when scrooling using the scrollbar or the scroll butoon on the mouse: the behavior is that some bottom lines and some top lines are updated and the lines in the middle of the window remain the same. 'some lines' means: sometimes 1, sometimes 5, sometimes 6. I have not been able to reproduce it consistenly... I have 8 konsoles: 4 for a shell on the local desktop and 4 for a shell on a remote linux system whcih is accessed by SSH. The improper scrolling only occurs only on all 4 konsoles with the remote shell and only when used for 2 days. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. open konsole 2. use ssh to go to remote Linux system 3. use it 2 days 4. try to scroll the content of the konsole Actual Results: window incorrectly displays content. Only some top and some bottom lines ar correct and the middle lines are bogus. Expected Results: all rows, especially the middle rows, have the correct content. new computer. Intel i5, 16 GB RAM, RAID1 disks.
This is a really old version - a lot has changed and all I can say is try to upgrade and let us know if you still have issues.
