The umbrello documentation contains several diagram images. Some of them are not translated, some of them uses outdated styles from older kde releases and some of them are translated and uses a recent style. examples: - outdated style: https://docs.kde.org/stable/de/kdesdk/umbrello/uml-elements.html#use-case-diagram - not translated: https://docs.kde.org/stable/es/kdesdk/umbrello/uml-elements.html#state-diagram - translated with recent style: https://docs.kde.org/stable/sv/kdesdk/umbrello/uml-elements.html#state-diagram Reproducible: Always
I agree with you that we should update the localized screenshots, but I failed to do that for de cause I did not have proper xmi files to take some german screenshots. Especially with an application like Umbrello it would really help to have the source files where the english screenshots were taken from at hand. To improve the situation this should be done from my pov: * Add the source xmi files for screenshots to umbrello/doc folder * Take screenshots with window dekorations included so translators see the source xmi files for the screenshots in the window title Annonce that on the translators list kde-i18n-doc@kde.org Thanks
I'm preparing an untranslated screenshots.xmi, which will be added to umbrello/doc as you mentioned. With feature #340385 umbrello got two command line tools named xmi2pot and po2xmi recently, which makes it possible to use the already established gettext based localization support using pot- and po files.
