Description John Lindgren 2014-10-26 00:30:37 UTC
The system settings window is too small by default. I went to the Window Actions and Behavior page, and there are scrollbars in both directions because the tabbed notebook does not fit inside the window. Please see the attached screenshot.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open System Settings and go the the Window Actions and Behavior page.

Actual Results:
The system settings window is too small.

Expected Results:
The system settings window should be big enough by default so that all off the tabbed notebook is visible. Alternatively, the tabbed notebook could adjust itself to fit within a smaller settings window.

Arch Linux package versions:
kwin 5.1.0.1-2
plasma-desktop 5.1.0.1-2
plasma-framework 5.3.1-1
systemsettings 5.1.0.1-1
xf86-video-intel 2.99.916-3

confirmed in systemsettings 5.1.90 build from sources.

I can no longer reproduce this with Plasma 5.2 git packages, please reopen if this is still problem. I think this was fixed at some point in kxmlgui.

Screenshot - 5.2.0

It is still an issue with a fresh user account in 5.2.0 release version; I haven't tried git.
