kactivitymanagerd[438]: org.kde.kactivities.application: [ FAILED ] loading: "Sqlite Feeder" "The shared library was not found." above from systemd journal log file after boot with plasma-desktop. soft installed: sqlite-3.8.7 Reproducible: Always
i saw that i disabled "sqlite plugin" from system settings. so you freely ignore this bug report. But it may better that it should not write confusing message to log about plugins which disabled by user.
The plugin can not be disabled. The plugin choosing page will be removed in a future release. The message shows that the installation is borked. Marking as downstream, though it would be nice if some arch user checked what the issue is so that the distributions (or me if technically possible) can guard against it.
good.there is no issue. i just test plasma-5.1.0.1 i just disable plugins because i didnt know how is it work/useful or whether it is mandotory. BR
Well, there *is* an issue - the log states that it is ignoring your configuration to disable sqlite plugin (as it should - it is not possible to disable it - need to remove it from the settings module) - the failure to load is an installation issue.
arch packager moved plasma to official repo for users which are want to install/use/test it easily. But doing this they kept kde4 with plasma5 together same prefix with a bit hacky tweaks. e.g "-DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr -DLIB_INSTALL_DIR=lib -DLIBEXEC_INSTALL_DIR=lib" Plus other kde4-qt4 pollution added on top of this. thus e.g "kdeinit5[344]: Could not find drkonqi at /usr/lib/libexec/drkonqi" appeared. To properly test plasma, installling it into a separate partition as pure and fresh is best. i will notify the issue to packager.
