Hi, sometimes krunner finds a file that I frequently use, and I know that there is another related file in that same folder that I want to open. Since that file isn't very frequently used, it's not prominently ranked in the krunner results. The easiest way in this case would be an option to "Open parent directory" in a file manager. Could this feature be added? Thanks a lot! Reproducible: Always

There hasn't been any activity on this. There are a lot of things on my KRunner todo list, and this one is quite far down. Specially since showing multiple actions per item clutters up the UI (In my opinion). I was hoping to first implement previews, and then put the additional options over there. I cannot give an time estimates. But then there are other developers as well :)

A note about cluttering up the UI: IMHO, there is just a shortcut to be added to realize this feature , in the same way as in OS X's Spotlight search: When someone clicks on a search result and presses e.g. CTRL, the parent folder opens instead of the file.
