Description Claudius 2014-10-24 08:53:36 UTC
I'm trying to follow the build instructions provided at https://www.digikam.org/node/525 however i fail in very early stages.

I am downloading the latest KDE Installer, which is -itself- 1.0.0 now, and it offers one download location (World Wide...), which in turn offers only KDE stable 4.10.2. It does not contain most of the mentioned packages (i double checked, i AM in package manager mode, and i HAVE mingw4 32bit selected).

Specifically, i cannot find gdb or debugview (neither by search, nor is there a group called Debug Tools). There also are no groups called kdebase or kdeedu, kdelibs or kdepimlibs. You can see this in the attached screenshot.

kdesupport IS there, but it does not contain automoc (the other mentioned packages are there).

I can find roundabout 22 packages, out of the ~49 suggested in the screenshots.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow the windows build instructions

Actual Results:
Fail at Stage 1, Row 3.

Expected Results:
Get through all stages :D

This tutorial is completely obsolete since a while and have been removed from digikam.org.

There is no plan to update this tutorial.
