Description ali.sherif10 2014-10-20 15:57:48 UTC
The download speed in KGet seems incorrect. It's ~62KiB/s in it, when it's ~220KiB/s in KDE system monitor.
The file is downloaded from Dropbox.
I didn't try to download any other file from Dropbox. The bug happens every time with the same file.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download a file from Dropbox.

Actual Results:
Downloads speed = ~62KiB/s.

Expected Results:
Downloads speed = ~220KiB/s.

Distribution: 64-bit OpenSUSE 13.2 KDE.
Internet connection: WiFi.
ISP provider: TEDate.

Dear Bug Submitter,

This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond.

Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!

I started a download in Fedora 29 KDE spin and it seems everything is fine.
It seems I was confused between KiB/s and KB/s which I was used to.
I apologies for wasting your time and it seems this wasn't a bug.
