In my profile in ktouch I have reworked over 600 exercises. Generate report after lesson takes a very long time. Currently it is about 20 seconds. The problem appeared suddenly, after one of the updates, and continues today. I checked how this looks on the newly created account (about 25 lessons), and the report appears immediately. Reproducible: Always Kubuntu 14.04
I can confirm this behavior: For me it already takes 55 seconds to load the report screen. Like the OP, I too have a large number of completed exercises (I guess that it's well over a thousand. I don't know the precise number, but the .kde/share/apps/ktouch/profiles has accumulated a size of over 2 MB over the years). With my average exercise length of just 5 minutes, this is starting to get really annoying. My version of ktouch is 2.3.0 (I'm using the standard package of Debian 8).
