Description ianp 2014-10-12 13:16:36 UTC
Crash occurs when selecting an album in the abum tree where the contents would be shown as thumbnails.
This only occurs on recently created albums that contain MOV or .xcf files. Movie or Gimp files.
Older albums (created in version before update) also contain MOV and XCF and there is no crash. Thumbnails fro the MOC and XCF are shown OK.
Rename the extension of these files (eg .MOV -> .xMOV) and the crash does not occur. Other thumbnails are now displayed OK No xcf or MOV files are shown as the extension is no longer recogmnised. Move all MOV and XCF file out of the album and it also no longer crashes.
Save an XCF file from gimp into the album open in Digikam and Digikam in the background crashes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Have recent albums containing Mov or xcf files.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Crash down to Debug assistant

Expected Results:
Album contents to be shown as thumbnails
