Description Herman Viaene 2014-10-11 11:45:06 UTC
I use knode to read two newsservers. Due to a KDE-related problem I lost the settings for knode.
I copied from backups, but this did not restore the password.
So now I have two newsservers, the first one (news.mozilla.org) does not require a password, but the second one (news.edpnet.be) does. When I start knode , it does not know the password for edpnet, and a dialogue is opened mentioning the second server (edpnet). But I guess, knode tries to apply it to the first newsserver, because whatever I input there, knode returns error on it.
But when I introduce the password in the settings of the second newsserver (edpnet), then all is OK.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Connect to first newsserver , one which requires no password.
2.Connect to second newsserver , one which requires a password, but don't specify it.
3.Start knode again

Actual Results:
Filling out the password dialogue never is successfull

Apply the password to the correct server

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
