When attaching a file, the file open dialog starts in the current user's home (at least in my case). The user changes to the directory where the file to be attached resides, selects the file, and confirms/closes the dialog. When attaching the second file, the file open dialog starts again in the user's home directory.
It would improve usability, if the file open dialog for attachments directly continues in the directory of the last attachment. It would suffice if the last directory is only memorized for the currently composed mail. For future mail compositions, the file open dialog may start again in the user's home directory.

It works fine here.
It opens last folder selected.
