Hej, now I had for several times the problem that digikam moves files to another directory when adding a label to those pictures. I does not happen every time. For me it's not clear when does it happen and when not. At the end I get a KDE-notification that the files have been moved. My files are organized like fotodir/2014/10/02/filename and after that the file is just in fotodir/. All the files are CR2-files. This time I added labels in the overview with the right bar. But I think I already had this problem also by adding labels with the context-menu. If you need more information just let me know. I will try to help with it.
Hi, Which king of labels do you use : Pick, Color, Rating, Tags ? How do you Apply labels ? By GUI (where ?), by keyboard shortcuts ? Which kind of database type do you use ? Sqlite, Mysql ? Collections are store in local or remote ? Gilles Caulier
Hi Gilles Caulier, ok, there was a lot I didn't mention to write... The bug is about tags. I don't know if it also happens with pick, color or ratings. I didn't use it yet. I applied it by the GUI on the right bar (Captain/Tags => Tags => checking the boxes for the tags). The database is sqlite. And yes, its stored at the local hard drive.
I NEVER seen this dysfunction here with Tags. I use it everyday. When you said that tagged items move in another place, are you in Tags tree-view mode from the left side ? If yes, it's a normal behavior (:=))) In other words, which view do you use on the left side of AlbumGUI ? Please take a screenshot. Gilles Caulier

I can't reproduce it now. But it should have been in the album-view.
