when the stylus is set to default: button 2 = right click = open circle palette (the one that have brushes, previous colors and a color triangle) button 1 = middle click = special hand tool (doesn't require left click like the space bar hand tool) the default operations in krita doesnt happen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1open krita 2. with the pen active, try the pen buttons inside the canvas of krita. 3. circle palette and hand tool won't activate. Actual Results: the desired tools doesn't activate Expected Results: to open the circle palette, and the special hand tool (the space bar hand tool requires the user to hold space bar and press left click in order to function, the middle click hand tool only requires to use middle click only to achieve the same results) In previous versions of krita and the h610 pro drivers the pressure sensitivity didn't work. Instead, if you move the stylus out of the tablet surface, and wait around 10 seconds, a small flashing circle wil be seen on the screen, where the cursor of the pen was. After this, the pressure sensitivity would work again, with the buttons 2 and 1 of the stylus not responding. This could be related.

Could you please generate a tablet log, so we could see what is happening with your tablet? https://answers.launchpad.net/krita-ru/+faq/2494 The log should contain info for three strokes: 1) Usual stroke 2) Stroke with middle button 3) Stroke with right button And just a sidenote: sometimes it is a good idea to test newer/different driver of Huion, since they had some big changes there recently.
The log file ended up being 4.5mb hope it isn't a problem to upload it on dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/s/771da2ftu1bvyuc/huion%20610%20pro%20log.LOG?dl=0 i was able to include the mysterious problem that happens sometime when i start krita (it seems to happen at a fresh restart of windows or when the stylus leaves inactivity). Here is what i did: 1 start krita 2 test the brush that was currenly selected on the canvas: result no pressure sensitivity (the stroke was full pressure, like if it was done with a mouse). But the stylus buttons worked as intended: button 2 = right click press = open palette button 1 = middle click & hold = special hand tool 3. i did 3 strokes on the canvas (left clicking) testing the pressure sensitivy and the right and middle strokes., as described in step 2. 4 now here is what changes everything: I lifted up the stylus, out of the range of the graphic tablet surface for a couple of seconds... 5 and when i stroke the surface again, the pressure sensitivity works. But not the right click and middle click functions. I did multiple strokes of left click checking the pressure, and also the buttons 2 and 1 for the right click and middle click. Didn't work as intended. note1: the buttons of the stylus (when assigned in the huion panel) can be changed for others keys: example button 2 = ctrl + z button 1 = e and they always work as intended. This problem happens only when you are using the button 2 = right click button 1 = middle click note 2; the canvas area is the problem, if you use the right click & middle click in the layers panel, for example, the right click and middle click work normally. note 3: I have been waiting that huion fix this problem (the latest drivers for the h610 pro still have this problem), but seems like they either are too busy with the ips new model or don't care anymore to answer me.
I found today a intuos 3 user that experienced the same kind of problems of no mouse buttons midle click-right click happening, (check at 14:20 min for the lift pen from tablet solution). So yeah, maybe this isn't a huion driver related problem after all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v725lrk3ALc
I also found that there is a way to recover the right click / middle click just for a moment: 1- leave the krita window and click anywhere in the taskbar.(press the pen = left click) 2- in the same spot, right click to invoque the options menu.(pen button 2= right click) 3- without closing the options menu, bring back the cursor into the krita canvas, now if you press middle or right click, it will work (pen button 1= middle click, pen button 2 = right click). 4- this effect only last until you press the pen inside the canvas. after the first stroke of the pen, the middle and right click will no longer work.
