Description Philippe Cloutier 2014-09-28 21:09:09 UTC
When KRDC is running fullscreen, a small toolbar appears at the top when the cursor is on the screen's top edge. Unfortunately, this bar overlaps with the equivalent toolbar of concurrent RDP clients (such as mstsc) running in the remote host.

A simple workaround would be to move the toolbar to the bottom, for example. There is a widget intended to make the toolbar movable at the toolbar's very left, but unfortunately that widget seems broken. When one clicks, the cursor changes into arrows as expected, but it goes back to normal as soon as the cursor leaves the widget, and the drag seems cancelled from that point.

Note that version 4.14.1 is missing from the field.
Comment 1 Philippe Cloutier 2014-10-09 11:40:49 UTC
I just moved the toolbar to the left edge involuntarily. I don't know how I did it, but I was then able to move back the toolbar to the top at the first attempt.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to move it now that it's back at the top.
Comment 2 Urs Wolfer 2014-10-12 14:53:00 UTC
I am not sure if I can reproduce the same issue. But I cannot move the toolbar from to to anther side because of the window manager which provides now functionality to move the whole KRDC fullscreen window to another monitor when long clicking the top region for moving the toolbar.

-> I am not able to move the toolbar to the right (or any other position).
Comment 3 Philippe Cloutier 2014-10-12 17:55:40 UTC
I am... not sure I understand your message. "from to to anther side"?

If you need any additional information, I will be happy to answer any question.
Comment 4 Urs Wolfer 2014-10-12 18:00:33 UTC
Oh, sorry about this message... let's try again:
But I cannot move the toolbar from the top to anther side because of the window manager which provides now functionality to move the whole KRDC fullscreen window to another monitor when long clicking the top region for moving the toolbar.
Comment 5 Philippe Cloutier 2014-10-12 18:14:36 UTC
OK, I have no idea about the functionality you allude to, and I use a single screen, but I do not understand why you say that you are not sure if you can reproduce the same issue. I do not see a difference between what you describe and the problem I have.
Comment 6 Philippe Cloutier 2014-10-15 15:53:12 UTC
This happened again, and I managed to understand how I did it. Instead of using the designated widget to drag, I use the minimize icon, which I use to drag the bar instead of simply clicking it. In fact, I can drag without issues using any icon, so this is a perfect workaround. Using that technique, I can bring the toolbar anywhere I want. If I then try to move using the designated widget, the toolbar goes back to the top, no matter which position it came from.
