Description bsfmartini 2014-09-28 00:18:27 UTC
Not a very important or very noticeable bug, but basically, if you continuously press pause before the fadeout timer is over, it resets the timer, extending the fadeout well past the point where the volume has reached 0.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Pause a song
2.Before the fadeout is over, press pause again.
3.Press pause repeatedly every 1 or 2 seconds.

Actual Results:
The song never pauses, even though the fadeout finishes and the song is at 0.

Expected Results:
In a perfect world, pressing pause twice would pause instantaneously -- singleclick for fadeout pause, doubleclick for instant pause. But I'll settle for it not extending the timer infinitely.

Which Phonon backend do you use? This is most likely related to it.

I posted this bug in conjunction with this (https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/120399/). The bug is caused by the EngineController not checking if we're already fading out, and then resetting the timer. I was mostly just testing the waters.

I guess I should have mentioned that in the report. Sorry.
