Hello, I have setup into i2p: I2P Client Tunnels to pop.postman.i2p. When I have connectivity problem, pop3 client connect well on server, but don't have reply (like packet dropped), then kmail re-ask the pass as the pass is the problem... Same problem with traditionnal pop3 account, if the connect is ok but the command packet is dropped. Can you ask the password only if explicitly "password wrong" returned? Cheers, Reproducible: Always
I think you can simulate with QTcpServer just listening, or ssh -L 110:127.0.0.1:9999 root@somewhere But the better it's test with i2p, it's easy to setup and create pop3 mail account.
Do you still have this problem with newer kmail/akonadi versions?
With Version 4.14.8 yes, the problem remain
That's really not "a new version", it's like 2 years old
