Description Heiko 2014-09-25 07:45:28 UTC
some libraries like "libaudiocd_encoder_lame.so" could not be loaded by settings dialog.
In terminal the application complains about "lib"-prefix of components.
I guess there should be tabs for "lame" and "wav"-settings as well, but those are missing on my systemsettings dialog.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open systemsettings with console
2. select "Multimedia"
3. watch console output for error messages

Actual Results:
systemsettings(11703)/kdecore (KLibrary) findLibraryInternal: plugins should not have a 'lib' prefix: "libaudiocd_encoder_lame.so"
systemsettings(11703)/kdecore (KLibrary) findLibraryInternal: plugins should not have a 'lib' prefix: "libaudiocd_encoder_vorbis.so"
systemsettings(11703)/kdecore (KLibrary) findLibraryInternal: plugins should not have a 'lib' prefix: "libaudiocd_encoder_wav.so"

I am sorry, but I do not have installed the Debian Distribution anymore where the problem was found. My main distribution is now Arch Linux and there the problems using the current KDE Frameworks 5.51.0 and KDE Plasma 5.14.3 are not present.

I'm going to close this as no others have reported issues with Debian for this issue.
