Description Roman Priesol 2014-09-24 14:26:25 UTC
I like SecureCRT scripting functionality. You can select a set of buttons for each session and map any action to each button. The action could be a script or it could paste a defined string ("show run") or raise a simple form with questions which send a defined string combined with form output ("show mac address-table | include $1").

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
No button bar :(

Expected Results:
A custom button bar with associated macros

+1 like to confirm this feature wish. It seems to be the thing I am looking too for long time.

There are some commands I have to type in again and again into a running terminal session but I do not have the option to create some alias or scripts inside the bash, so I like to have some buttons which can send an assigned command to the terminal as input. Having buttons would also greatly speed up my actions.

Konsole has a quickcommands plugin now which should be doable for what you want.
