Description Sandro Knauß 2014-09-19 15:16:45 UTC
Situation <other guy> starts the communication and starts typing a message directly. I see two to three "Encrypted message" entries in the chat window. Than the OTR session is started and I see only one decrypted meesage. For me it is now unclear if these not "encrypted message"s are only internal OTR communication messages or did <other guy> talk more than hello. It would be nice if user gets feedback if the "Encrypted message"s are internal OTR messages or not.

<other guy> Encrypted message
<other guy> Encrypted message
<other guy> Encrypted message
Unverified OTR session started
<other guy> hello

Reproducible: Always

In this case it's backlog.

We added this because otherwise we just get flooded with a blacklog of ?OTR234o5jkedfj9843u5lkjesrflkj345lkjlakdfjoiajdf

Dear user, unfortunately Telepathy is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
