Description tnemeth 2014-09-16 11:51:47 UTC
Hi.

I was trying the route planning, adding via points to select a more adequate route (not taking
highways).

The bug is partly due to a interface design problem: when adding a via point, this via point is added
AFTER the current destination. I was putting the real destination on the last point (which got lost in
between because of a bad click) and then the middle point must have been set to 0'E 0'N because it
tried to calculate a route to that point... And it's a long long way from here :)

This caused marble to become very slow for a long moment rendering the interface unusable.

Could the route planning be put into a thread with low priority enough to let the user play with the
map while the route is beeing calculated ?

Could trip/via points be added between the route start point and destination ?

Sorry, I didn't received the previous notifications.
I can't remember how I was trying to add via-points on an itinerary. However now the problem seems to have been corrected since I can (with some interface difficulties) add new points even if it's not ideal.
