Well, as bug 298730 is FIXED and "annotations" seem to differ from "notes" (no native speaker here, but to me that sounds pretty much the same, except one is displayed in the document text and the other isn't), here's a second bug report. I dare you marking this one as duplicate of 298730... General idea: One does add annotations to a PDF file, some yellow doodling, some text, and some "pop up" (or hover) notes. It seems useful to me to be able to print and/or export all of this stuff. Currently, only printing of in-text additions is possible. Popup notes do not make it into a printed copy except for the overlay icon that indicates a note. There is no export function for any of this stuff. I have no idea how to extract this information from the .okular archive, so I guess most of the users don't know as well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a PDF in Okular 2. Add some annotations (popup ones, in-text notes are fixed in 298730) 3. Print the file Actual Results: The PDF is printed - but the annotations are not Expected Results: The PDF is printed and if you check the option "Print annotations" in "PDF options" tab of printer settings, ALL types of annotations are printed. It doesn't have to look 1:1 as on the screen, as there might be a lot of text in the notes. Maybe offer a zoomed version (and put the note text below), or create separate pages to list all annotations.
We are not daring anyone. Please open bugs without daring people, we are working for free so that you can use our software, no need to hate us for us giving you software for free,
Now seriously, i'm marking the bug as unconfirmed again, needs thinking on how to implement it. Please understand that we're all here to make things better, not to dare people to do things just because they can.
