Description Antonio Orefice 2014-09-14 12:18:07 UTC
As soon as i connect to a wireless network, plasma desktop start to eat about 1.5%..3% cpu on an ivy-bridge machine.
if i remove the network.management applet from the tray, it just stops from eating cpu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. connect to a wifi network while having the widget running in the tray
2. watch the cpu use by plasma-desktop
3. remove the widget from the tray
4. See that the cpu use from plasma-desktop will go down.

Actual Results:
constant cpu use

Expected Results:
much lower, almost 0% cpu use.
