Add please a "duplicate" Function in the Reporting Engine. When I Put a "Field" to the Report I have to ajust the Fieldsize. Here now comes the duplicate in process. Adding 10 or more fields can be simplified with duplicate. All fields have the same size and only the text or other object information as color etc. must be changed. The duplicate Button is standard in all Mac OS X database from Filemaker, 4D, Openbase, Frontbase. It saves a lot of time - as adjusting the field size is not that responsive compared as example with Sybase Powerbuilder.
Is copy/paste not enough? Would a duplicate function be a combination of copy + paste?

(In reply to Adam Pigg from comment #1) > Is copy/paste not enough? Would a duplicate function be a combination of > copy + paste? The judgement is not to use the "Clipboard". As over time - Clipboard works different in every Operating System. (Early just text information, later rtf, some limitation on size, other limits on graphics formats as jpg, png). Structured information may loose their information on many systems. A second issue is "Bug tracking" on Clipboard information. Check out the attachement. Therefore the "Duplicate" function is more stable. If I pick a field: Text, Image etc. and add metadata as example: Form of the field - rectangular rounded edges - background color jade and the size is 2 cm in lenght and 0.5 cm in high everything works flawless with the Duplicate function.

Created a dedicated thread for longer discussion.. this bugzilla isn't editable ;/ https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=220&t=122843
Since Forms support the Ctrl+drag action, changing the scope to reports only, if you don't mind.
@Peter By the way, if possible please let's use links to external documents instead of pasting a 1.5MB copy here. Thanks :)
